GUY ATKINSON

 

“I started taking photos of local bands as a teenager. I also spent a lot of time painting and creating art and gradually photography crept into my creative practice. When I studied at Saint Martins I realised that I could achieve most of my artistic goals through photography and it became my favourite method of creating ideas and capturing the world around me.”

 

Guy Atkinson is a Qualified Photographer born in 1987 - Kent, UK. 

After completing an Art & Design Foundation Degree at Central Saint Martins London, he moved north to Sheffield, to continue his studies with a BA in Photography. In his free time, with numerous music and club events on the agenda he was a primary contact for many event organisers.

Finishing in 2010, indulging his passion for Documentary Photography, Guy decided to expand his work portfolio and spent 7 months travelling in India and Nepal. He has since taken photos around the world and recently moved to Edinburgh.
